Let's Hear It For My Daughter Tessa!

My daughter Tessa received an honorable mention in a teen short story contest.

Whoo hoo! I'm so proud of her. Her short story "Reign of the Wolves" is a fantasy about a wolf colony that rules a world where humans are the minority. She did a fabulous job on it. Maybe some day she'll let me post part of it.

Woo hoo. Way to go Tessa. We received over 75 entries in that contest, so that's awesome. I hope you'll let your mom post part of the entry, but make her pay you first rights! It sounds interesting. I'm partial to wolves.

WoooHoo for your daughter.

Also, thank you for posting the call for essays for Sauce magazine. I found out today that the essay I submitted was chosen for publication.

Woo Hoo for you too Jerri! I'm so happy for you and thrilled you found it here. Congrats. I also had my essay accepted. Mine will be in the May issue and I'm excited.

Let me know when yours will be in and I'll link to it on the blog - and cuz I'd love to read it when it comes out:)

Woo hoo for both of you. Now it's my turn to be jealous. They didn't take mine.

Congratulations, Tricia. I look forward to reading yours, too. Mine will be in the June issue.

WooHoo times two!

Bummer Tricia. But you know you'll just win another contest with it.

I still love the essay, and you'll easily get it published elsewhere or take home prize money.
