Thx dear friends! I actually bid on the case in the annual Saturday Writers auction, donated by Art Center Manager Cindy Dubois. The cases are for rent so anybody can get one. My display will be up until just after Christmas.
Last night after the Author's Night at the SCCC library, I stopped over there to put back some books and stands I'd taken out. There was a painting class going on and a few of the artists stopped by to ask what I was doing. We discussed how writing is an art, like painting and music and other mediums. It was very nice to share interest in our works with each other.
